The President's Cabinet and Leadership is charged with developing the strategic direction and operational agenda intended to propel the University toward greater success. The cabinet is hand selected by the President and Board of Trustees and is entrusted to ensure student success and success and further development of the institution.
Dr. Thomas M. Frost, Ed.D. serves as Bloxton University's institution founder and 1st University President. Dr. Frost comes to Bloxton with extensive knowledge of both the ro-K-12 education, and ro-higher education sectors. As the founder of ro-Graham Middle School, ro-Graham High School, and eventually the ro-Graham Local School District, Dr. Frost is given due credit as one of the lead developers and creators of the ro-education movement on the ROBLOX platform.
Dr. Frost received his Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration, and Doctorate of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership and Administration.
Dr. Dolores Kendall serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bloxton University, where she provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the institution's academic programs. With a distinguished career in higher education, Dr. Kendall is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and innovation across all disciplines. She oversees curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and the enhancement of teaching and learning environments.
Dr. Kendall is committed to promoting a culture of continuous improvement and inclusivity, ensuring that academic policies and initiatives align with the university's mission and goals. Under her leadership, Bloxton University has seen significant advancements in research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student success. Known for her collaborative approach and unwavering dedication to academic integrity, Dr. Kendall is a respected leader who inspires excellence within the academic community.
Dr. William Balfour is the Vice President for Administrative Services here at Bloxton University. Personally overseeing both the Office of Human Resources and the Office of Public Safety, he is heavily involved in the administrative functions of our institution on a day to day basis.
Dr. Balfour has extensive experience in education. Having prior experience in post-secondary and higher education management from Madison University, it makes him an exemplary candidate for this position. Dr. Balfour also has significant experience in the elementary and secondary education fields, having worked in leadership for many elementary, middle, and high schools.
Dr. Balfour currently holds his Doctorate of Education and a specialist degree in educational leadership. Apart from this, Dr. Balfour has also been recognized by many institutions, even being awarded numerous certifications and awards following his true devotion and contributions to the field of education.
Taking on a new journey, Dr. Balfour is incredibly pleased to be working at Bloxton University and hopes that his efforts assist in building what will be a strong and reputable university!
Mr. Zachary Clark is an educational leader and helper who has been employed within the field for a multitude of years. Mr. Clark brings with him the experience of high-level administrative roles including Human Resources Coordinator, Dean of Students, Director of Educational Technology, and Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education.. Throughout his career, Zach has set an exemplary standard and high expectations for those with whom he supervises and works with. Zach brings his unique talents to the Bloxton University Leadership Team as one of the many competent and diverse leaders our institute employs.
He believes that students are important to the functioning of any educational institution and therefore, he will make certain that the student body is made up of high achieving students who go above and beyond. In his role as Vice President of Enrollment Management, he will guarantee that all students who apply are meeting the highest standard and we are only admitting the best of the best into this institution. The Division of Enrollment Management is at the forefront of this institution, we are the first people prospective students interact with and we need to ensure that students like the campus and decide to apply. With that in mind, Zach will make it his obligation to regularly meet with prospective students, current students, faculty, and staff to see what we can do better to help attract students.
Zachary started his career as a history teacher at DeSoto High School before transitioning to school and district level management positions. After his time at DeSoto, Zach became a mid-level manager at the United States Department of Education where he would continue to serve in a multitude of roles including Director of Educational Technology and Deputy Chief of Staff before culminating into his most prestigious position as Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education. Zach earned his Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in 7-12 Social Studies, Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelors of Public Policy. He also holds certifications in Educational Leadership, Student Counseling, and Social Studies from the DeSoto Independent School District along with being a graduate of the Executive Education Program for Senior Government Executives at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Zachary is eager to begin his work at this prestigious institute and is excited for the challenges and rewards of the road ahead.
Dr. Raheem J. Taylor, Ed.D., J.D. serves as the Vice President of Student Life at Bloxton University. His educational journey began at DeSoto High School in Texas. He served in various roles, including personalized learning coordinator and Assistant Principal, before excelling as an Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent in the DeSoto Independent School District. Later, he transitioned to Southwood Hills Independent School District, serving as Chief of Schools, Deputy Superintendent, and Superintendent.
During his leadership roles, Dr. Taylor worked closely with school administrators to enhance the educational experience for students, staff, and community stakeholders, prioritizing amplifying student voices and creating welcoming spaces for students.
Dr. Taylor's educational journey is a testament to his comprehensive understanding of the education system. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Georgia State University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from Albany State University, an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Kennesaw State University. His diverse educational background is further enriched by his credentials as a National Certified School Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia.
Dr. Taylor's enthusiasm for collaboration is palpable. He is eager to engage with the students, faculty, and community members of Bloxton University, fostering a sense of shared purpose and collective growth. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in traveling, cooking, and making meaningful contributions to the community.
Dr. Nathaniel Preston serves as the Vice President of University Advancement at Bloxton University, where he is tasked to serve as the institution's chief advancement officer with scope of oversight including Community Relations and Partnerships, Donor Relations, Alumni Relations, and Bloxton’s Communications and Marketing efforts.
Dr. Preston comes to Bloxton University with years of experience in both the K-12 ro-education and ro-higher education sectors and will play an important role in the advancement of Bloxton University moving forward. Nathaniel ro-education career began in 2020 when he joined DeSoto Independent School District as the Coordinator of Strategy & Continuous Improvement, similarly working to develop strategies and policies that aimed to improve the quality and efficiency of the district’s mission and goals throughout their schools. He then quickly rose through ranks serving as a Human Resource Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Assistant Superintendent, Vice President and more.
He currently holds an Associate of Arts Degree in History and Bachelor’s in History Education. Being a passionate scholar, Dr. Preston later returned to school to earn a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education & Leadership.
Dr. Preston strongly believes that education is an essential component of life, being the most valuable asset a person can possess to change the world. Being a respected educational professional who has been at the helm of developing new approaches and ideas to help improve various aspects of ro-education, Dr. Preston attributes all of his achievements and qualities to his faith and belief in God. Dr. Preston is committed to lifelong learning and being a driving force in advancing Bloxton University.
